By registering for the Coaching with Benedicte Bemet Weekend Intensive, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Registration & Payment
A dancer's place in the Weekend Intensive is confirmed once full payment has been received and registration has been successfully completed.
Places are limited and registrations are accepted subject to availability.
Participants must ordinarily be aged 13–19 years at the time of the Intensive and have appropriate classical ballet training and pointe experience to participate safely in the program.
Exceptions to the age requirement may be made at Benedicte's discretion and must be discussed and approved prior to registration.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you are unable to attend the Weekend Intensive, please notify Benedicte Bemet Coaching as soon as possible via hello@benedictebemet.com.
For cancellations initiated by the participant:
More than 30 days before the Intensive: 75% refund
Between 14 and 30 days before the Intensive: 50% refund
Less than 14 days before the Intensive: No refund, unless the place can be filled by another eligible dancer
A place may be transferred to another eligible dancer with prior approval from Benedicte Bemet Coaching.
Any approved refund will be returned to the original payment method.
This cancellation policy does not limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Cancellation or Changes by Benedicte Bemet Coaching
Benedicte Bemet Coaching reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the schedule, repertoire, teaching content or other elements of the Weekend Intensive where necessary.
If the Weekend Intensive is cancelled by Benedicte Bemet Coaching, participants will be offered a refund of the amount paid for the Intensive, subject to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a material change is made to the service, applicable consumer rights will be respected.
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation and associated expenses.
4. Participation, Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in the activities included in the Weekend Intensive.
Any current injury, physical limitation or other relevant information that may affect safe participation should be disclosed during registration. Benedicte Bemet Coaching should also be notified if this information changes before the Intensive.
Participants are expected to follow reasonable instructions provided by Benedicte and venue staff relating to training, conduct and safety.
Benedicte may modify or restrict a participant's involvement in an activity where reasonably necessary for their safety or the safety of others.
5. Pointe Work
The Weekend Intensive includes pointe work.
Participants must have appropriate prior pointe training and should only participate in pointe exercises appropriate to their level of experience.
Benedicte may modify pointe exercises or ask a participant not to undertake a particular exercise where she considers this appropriate for safe participation.
6. Photography & Video
Photography and video may be captured during the Weekend Intensive for use by Benedicte Bemet Coaching in connection with its website, social media and promotional materials.
Photography and video consent is collected separately during registration.
Choosing not to consent to photography or filming will not prevent a dancer from participating in the Weekend Intensive.
7. Participants Under 18
For participants under the age of 18, registration must be completed or authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or guardian is responsible for providing accurate contact and emergency information and for informing Benedicte Bemet Coaching of any relevant information concerning the dancer's participation.
8. Conduct
The Weekend Intensive is intended to provide a supportive, professional and respectful training environment.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards Benedicte, fellow dancers, venue staff and the facilities.
Serious or repeated behaviour that compromises the safety or experience of others may result in a participant being removed from the Intensive.
9. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings while attending the Weekend Intensive.
Please ensure all personal items, including dancewear, pointe shoes and other belongings, are clearly labelled where appropriate.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
